[Beta Beat] - Early Information on Round 4 of Valiant Vegetable Heroes [Part of The Beta Beat V85]


This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on Round 4 of :vegetable: Valiant Vegetable heroes.
Don’t get too attached

  • Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release.
  • It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing.
  • So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made.

*There are a total of two (2) new heroes are added to Beta for testing, which are for the :vegetable: Vigilant Vegetables Event Summon.

*The names of the new heroes are:
5 ⭐ Legendary: Big Barry, Melonius

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Valiant Vegetable Family:
Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family.

  • Bonus of 2 / 3 Heroes:
    • Fiends and Mega Fiends summoned by this character get +5% / +10% attack,
    • Fiends and Mega Fiends summoned by this character get +2% / +3% health.
  • Event Hero Bonus
    • The members of this family have additional perks in the Vigilant Vegetables event.

Special Skill: Spiked Bat Tharshing

  • Deals 580% damage to all enemies.
  • Deals additional 15% damage for each Fiend or Mega Fiend owned by the enemies, up to 730% damage in total.
  • The target receives lasting 263 Bleed damage per turn. (This effect lasts until it is cleansed, replaced or removed.)
  • The caster gets +50% attack, and a further 20% increase every time they are hit during 4 turns, up to 150% attack.

Special Skill: Magical Refreshment

  • All allies gain 25% mana.
  • All allies gain additional 5% mana for each Fiend or Mega Fiend owned by the enemies, up to 50% mana in total. (After a character has received5 direct mana additions from Special Skills during a single turn, all subsequent direct mana additions done by Special Skill will have reduced power on that character.)
  • Uproots debuffs from the all  allies.

Uproot safely removes 2 status ailments, negative Stacks or Wither effects from each target. This includes uncleansable status ailments and dance effects. 

  • The caster receives 7% boosted health for each effect removed. Boosted health can exceed max HP.
    • Safe cleanse bypasses secondary effects, such as damage on removal, from the removed status ailment. External effects such as passive skills and family effects can still activate.
  • Wither effects are removed first. Other effects, the latest removed first.)
  • The duration of buffs is reset on all allies.
