Raffinho
Which 4-star heroes are best suited for challenge events like the Alliance Quest, the Vegetable Quest and similar ones? I do have a few 4-star heroes (including some with costumes), but none of them really make much of an impact. 5-star und 3-star are not the problem, but at 4-stars I keep struggling since...ever Which ones do you use? Maybe I have them too (it doesn’t matter if they’re levelled up or not) and just can’t see their potential
Zyrax
Not the freshest info but this is a decent starting point if you have options that surpass one of the heroes shown then it’s probably a reasonable choice 1

Have a look at the AQ and Event leaderboards. I guess standard is Wilbut and triple C2Colen plus a variable 5th hero, could be Buster or Gormek or even a 4th Colen...
NevarMaor
I tend to struggle in the 4* sections since most of my maxed L2 4* are healers. Tends to be a laugh when I forget to change the default defence for 4* Bloody Battle tournaments. I have L2 Greg and Li Xiu as my main non-healers One of these days I have to get some better 4* done. Colen isn't even L1 ... Edited Monday at 03:11 PM by NevarMaor (see edit history)
Habanero
I don't have a collection of Colens or Wilburs so, fighting with what I have, I am using: C1 Colen, Rafeeq, Azmia, Marcel and Waddles, whenever I go for a full 4 star team. Azmia (heal and counter) and Waddles (disrupts skills) are quite useful for bosses, since my 4 star team are rather weak. Characters I use a lot also includes: Shark'Hai, Proteus, Li Xiu and Choozen. (Just for the record, my current attack team in this tourney consists of Shark'Hai, Azmia, Chozen, Kalo and Colen/Rafeeq; in that order. It holds on quite well)
Raffinho
I don't have an "army of Colens" as well, so I also use what I have. My target isn't to get into the top 100, but finishing the epic round without struggles So after the feedback here, I switched to C2-Colen, Boldtusk, Glass Grimm, C2-Kiril and Greg (further used Glass Sonya). This team went through very easily. But I will expand my 4* roster with some of the heroes mentioned here. I own them, but stillat 1-1. Shohoku79
I play for completion, never for competition, so I usually just try to finish and collect the chest rewards given. For the Alliance Quest (this one specifically, the Brave and Beautiful), which is more or less just Brave Musketeers 2.0, the mechanics are largely the same, you have to watch out for the auto RIposte / Def buff every few turns while tackling a new batch of bosses. As there is no Elemental Barrier to worry about in AQ, on Epic I pretty much used Boldtusk, Melendor, Grimm, Shar'Khai (damage up), and Chao/Li Xiu. Before getting Shark head, I would probably used Wu Kong for damage up, Proteus for mana control, and instead of Grimm, use WIlbur for Def Buff and damage sharing. However, the misses from Wu Kong and the auto riposte sometimes just happens to sneak in right before my long cascade of tile damages and would end up decimating me instead, which eventually became a turn off. After getting the Shark, I exchanged the higher potential tile damage from Wu for a no-miss, albeit lower damage, attack set with the Shark and used someone else for the yellow spot. For this event, I almost always make sure I have at least one or two shields on the board in case the riposte needed to be dispelled, Melendor also helps with that if that was not possible, it is at least free heal plus dispel until you can generate some shields again. Attack Up from Boldtusk and the Def buffs I get from Melendor (Toon), def down on the offense from Grimm, and damage up from Shar'Khai, and then finally the damage dealer/mana control with Chao/Li Xiu. Compared to my previous setup, I would have had a gap in blue because I bring Wilbur, and would need to totally make sure Proteus mana damage sticks, because Wu Kong is very unpredictable, on good days I might be able to finish off the bosses in one tile cascade upon firing my specials in a specific order. Bad days, they take much longer. I might be able to add more variety to the mix, but I almost always tend to end up choosing the ones that has the higher power level, which by now is mostly the vanillas with multiple costumes. NevarMaor
Using Greg did make the 4* tiers a lot easier for me. Did not make them much quicker though ... Goldie with her reflect also helps. Edited Tuesday at 03:51 PM by NevarMaor (see edit history)
Raffinho
Goldie is literally gold - I love her. One of my three 4* that received LB2 up to 80. But I mostly have to choose between her an C2-Kiril (for the overheal). Two healers are to much and I'm a fan of overheal.
