This is what I could never find on the E&P discord server. Useful stuff!

Also, good to see I am in accord on FS8. I took Daemon first and most likely Relius next. I feel validated 🤣

😄 That is a feat! I plastered this stuff all over the discord 😉 But I guess the structure is different there. Anyway the search function on discord is pretty good if you know what you are looking for.

Loved the SE17 guide. The only thing I'd change is to highlight Thalasa's immunity to insanity which is fairly unique as a skill that'll stand the test of time and so worth highlighting. Unless I've totally misunderstood the card

Not really unique. All Fauns and UT1 costumes have it, like Domiventus in this SE as well.
Also I find it one of the most irrelevant passives in the game compared to what the good heroes these days have.
Insanity heroes have never gained acceptance (luckily) they are only played in the lower parts of the game on defense. very few are played on offense, but you don´t put a hero on def for that.
Insanity wars are very rare (only every other cycle) which means half as often as rush wars. How many heroes do you max for rush only? And even if you do those rush heroes are far more impactful than a immunity passive to an effect that half the time doesn´t do anything because the fight is over before or because it just decides to do nothing because it´s random BS.

So no I don´t find this worth including. It´s too niche, but yes it is a plus. I mention niche stuff mostly for heroes where there is nothing but niche, like Ahmose. Thalassa is fine as a hero, nothing amazing, nothing bad, the insanity thing doesn´t change her overall purpose or value, but it´s a nice to have thing, every 4 months you can use her in 2 insanity wars and smile instead of wonder when you hit the button.

Well i shouldn´t say most irrelevant in the game, it´s a fine passive for the time when it was released, which was before heroes got actually strong passives/families. Todaay every single family has FAR better stuff on the autopilot. But back then it this was where it was at. So let´s say avg quality on release (it was released as a counter to the negative insanity war hype when that was invented), very weak today.

For me, insanity resistance is mainly relevant for the Insanity Wars, which is where C.Thalassa shines. I don't face enough insanity-dealing heroes in raiding for it to be an issue, and the insanity-reducing mechanism with dragon and diamond tiles lessens its impact in the insanity event.

I have played with 3* and 4* insanity dealers in tournaments and I just find the whole mechanism from attacking perspective to be borked.

I guess I would add that c-UT1 and Faun Insanity-resistance also significantly matters if you actually *use* Insanity heroes.

I realize that’s not a popular option for many, but for someone who uses Insanity even sometimes, then that use case would certainly be a lot more frequent than Insanity wars.

(I agree that the Insanity PvE event generally doesn’t need any particular resistance, if for no other reason than you can bring a bunch of minor healing potions and antidotes!)

Insanity isn’t my favorite thing - but I think at least some Insanity heroes can be underrated; in fact, I might noodle around the idea of writing up a Bob’s Practical Guide to Insanity.

—If I can defend much-maligned snipers, for RNG’s sake, I can probably make some arguments about Insanity; one main issue is that when actually actively using Insanity heroes, each one tends to have their own twist.  The main thing to me about Insanity heroes is that you almost cannot just drop them into an existing team the way you would a big often-generically-effective hitter, you do have to plan — and play — around them.
