Are 3* and 4* worth leveling?

I can’t see how useful lower level mats are for more seasoned players. So is there a reason to level lower star Mimics?

I mean, they don't take any precious resources up to level and you can't send it to the SE, so why not level it?

Mimics. I’m sorry. This was my first post here. I wrote the post and then discovered I wasn’t signed in. When I signed in, I rewrote the post title the same - in my brain but not on my phone. Left out Mimic the second time. 
 

I also had a much longer text giving my view but for some reason, after I write something once, the second time seems like too much work.

Yes. Definitely. The red 3* experience mimic is horrible stat wise, but I get a decent number of feeder heroes from it so it's on my farming team. Plus, the feeders it gives are of all colors.

It's cool everyone getting used to the new place, yeah I use the red 3* as have it ... It does drop trainer heros too. So worth using feeders always handy.

Don't have the yellow one but prob would max it .

I guess my 4* yellow Ascension Mimic is my head scratcher. At most it delivers Battle Manuals, Chainmail Shirts, Scabbards, Tall Boots, Hidden Blades, Orb of Magics, Sturdy Shields, Trap Tools, and Warm Capes - of which I have hundreds. It does give backpacks but I Farm like a Midwesterner. 
 

The irony is from all that Farming, what I need is food.

The 4star can make backpacks and a few other low level useful items, but nothing big.
The 3star makes XP, so sure it´s useful, if you don´t have the 5star mimics.

As heroes both suck and you sure don´t need them unless you are a newbie, in which case these 2 heroes are the best thing in the game for you, super cheap and quick to level up so you can start playing with better heroes than some random non-costumed S1 3star which is much worse and cost a lot more to max...

I suppose it may depend on whether any of those mats are sellable when Platinum Trader goes live?
