This thread is to provide early insights and discussion on the initial release of the Round 12 of Shadow Heroes. Don’t get too attached Details from Beta, especially brand-new Beta content, don’t tend to be very reliable for actual release. It’s incredibly common that features are changed during Beta testing, or sometimes even after testing but before release. That is, after all, the purpose of Beta testing. So I wouldn’t get too attached to any of this — it’s not unheard of for entire portions of features to be removed or reworked, or for radical changes to functionality to be made. Shadow Heroes There are a total of three (3) new heroes added to Beta for testing; these have been indicated to be for the Shadow Summon. The names of the new heroes are: Legendary: Axioma, Azureus, Nyctalos Forsaken family Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family. Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes: +15% / +20% / +30% critical chance. +20% / +30% / +40% health. The Institute family Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family. Bonus for 1 / 2 / 3 Heroes: +5% / +9% / +13% mana generation +20% / +30% / +40% health. 5 – Legendary Heroes Axioma - Scholar of Unseen Forces Azureus - Aetheric Strategist Nyctalos - The All-Seeing Terror Axioma – Beta Info & Stats (extremely likely to change) Rarity: Legendary/5* Gender: Female Power: 1278 Attack: 1303 Defense: 1328 HP: 2327 Class: Wizard Element: Holy (Yellow) Mana Speed: Average Family: The Institute Aether Power: Counterattack Passive: Minion Corruption At the end each turn, enemies with Insanity have a chance to have their Minion turn to Fiends. Reaching 70 Insanity activates the transformation automatically. A Minion will transform into an Eldritch Fiend: 15% attack, 18% health, inflicts 5 Insanity every turn. A Mega Minion will transform into an Eldritch Mea Fiend: 115% attack, 68% health, inflicts 10 Insanity every turn. Passive: Branded by the Old Ones All damage from normal attacks and Special Skills dealt by this character is increased by 6% per 10 Insanity on this character, up to 60%. Special Skill: The Forbidden Formula Deals 450% damage to the target and nearby enemies and inflicts 45 Insanity on them. All allies get an additional +100% attack power for the next Special Skill they cast. The additional attack power increases +25% each turn, up to a maximum of +200% in total. All allies are immune to buff dispels and reallocations for 4 turns. (The immunity also includes this effect itself.) Casting this Special Skill inflicts 20 Insanity on all allies. Azureus – Beta Info & Stats (extremely likely to change) Rarity: Legendary/5* Gender: Male Power: 1278 Attack: 1289 Defense: 1334 HP: 2348 Class: Paladin Element: Ice (Blue) Mana Speed: Average Family: The Institute Aether Power: Taunt Passive: Minion Corruption At the end each turn, enemies with Insanity have a chance to have their Minion turn to Fiends. Reaching 70 Insanity activates the transformation automatically. A Minion will transform into an Eldritch Fiend: 15% attack, 18% health, inflicts 5 Insanity every turn. A Mega Minion will transform into an Eldritch Mea Fiend: 115% attack, 68% health, inflicts 10 Insanity every turn. Passive: Eldritch Pact If defeated, this character has a chance to be reborn as Eldritch Host. The chance is 10% per 10 Insanity on this character, up to maximum chance of 100%. The Eldritch Host has: 100% inherited health. 1200 attack. 1000 defense2 Special Skill: Eldritch Bright Deals 400% damage to the target and inflicts 35 Insanity on them. If this character defeats themselves when activating Insanity, the chance to be reborn is always 100%. Special Skill: Aetheric Transmutation All enemies element is changed to Fire for 4 turns. This effect can't be cleansed. (Titans and Mythic Titans are not affected by this status effect.) Deals 355% damage to all enemies and inflicts 20 Insanity of them. The caster gets Taunt that prevents enemies from using Special Skills on the caster's allies for 4 turns. The caster reflects status ailments and 200% damage back to the attacker and block other negative effects from enemies Fire Special Skills for 4 turns. (Status effects cast by characters, Minions and Fiends on the same side cannot be reflected. ) Casting this Special Skill inflicts 45 Insanity on the caster. Nyctalos – Beta Info & Stats (extremely likely to change) Rarity: Legendary/5* Gender: Female Power: 1278 Attack: 1339 Defense: 1303 HP: 2286 Class: Ranger Element: Dark (Purple) Mana Speed: Very Fast Family: Forsaken Aether Power: Attack Up Passive: Minion Corruption At the end each turn, enemies with Insanity have a chance to have their Minion turn to Fiends. Reaching 70 Insanity activates the transformation automatically. A Minion will transform into an Eldritch Fiend: 15% attack, 18% health, inflicts 5 Insanity every turn. A Mega Minion will transform into an Eldritch Mea Fiend: 115% attack, 68% health, inflicts 10 Insanity every turn. Each Ocular Ray reduces the Max Health of the hit Enemy by 100. Casting this Special Skill inflicts 50 Insanity on the caster.

The target cannot gain new buffs or Growth effects for the duration. Target with Fear deals 160% damage to random ally each time any other ally casts their Special Skill. Each character can trigger this effect once per turn. Deals 250% damage to 5 random enemies. × This effect targets the same enemy as the first hit if there are no other valid targets. All hit targets get 10 Insanity every time they are hit. × Insanity adds a chance of reversing the targeting of a Special Skill. When Insanity activates, Special Skills that target enemies instead will target allies, and vice versa. Special Skills aimed at a caster will be cast on a random target. Special Skills aimed at a target will be cast on the caster. When Insanity activates, Passive Skills that grant extra effects on cast won't activate.
