Telluria hurt a lot for me. I got like 4 of him/her/it, and got about two weeks of use before nerfing to oblivion. (Never got Vela until years later, nor Gravemaker, so felt really put upon when I lost my best hero because of the combo). I'm currently using Eldwren on my purple raid team, but that could easily change with a lucky pull somewhere else. Aurox is doing a good job on my yellow team as well. I used Roughian and Nurgib a good long time, and Kara. I have Seshat maxed with costume and she occasionally gets play (3 costume PoG challenge, for instance). Kingston was a favorite for some time, but haven't used him in a while. I got Ares and Gravemaker very late to the party, so they seldom get used. Iris was useful for a while, as was Malicna. I keep saying I'm going to finish Chloris, but I have Vernon to finish, followed by Broseph, so it'll be a while. I had five of the HotM last month and had intended to keep one, but traded them all off for SE.

I also pulled him in the event (currently at 4/73 or so). I am already using him in raids. Will be using a tome to his 80 and then LB. I'm very happy with his performance, especially taking two specials off the table when all goes well.

I don't have her, but used Raffaele for a while, who has a similar thing. I fairly quickly tired of trying to min-max it and just fired it off and counted on the regeneration afterwards. (Unless it was clear that a devasting but not destroying hit was about to come in.) Wealtheow is considerably better than Raffaele because of her additional effects. Congrats on your new hero! (I took Silverpaw, as I only managed 15 souls without having to sacrifice someone I'd already leveled. I might have taken him anyway, since his special is cool.)

Fighting 16*, I use: C Guardian Chameleon (strong attack up) Motega (Increased received damage - the minions hit once before being obliterated by the titan's passive) or Zasha (snipe, plus enough heal to kill the minions) C-Leonidas (Elemental DD) White Rabbit (Normal DD - I use the base side, since he does slightly more damage, even though I have the costume) Lemonwood (Pincushion the titan and reduce its mana) I take the big antidotes, as two of them will clear the minions for everybody if no healer is ready to fire.

Finley was one of my first really good heroes. He's definitely more offensive than defensive. That said, without his costume, he has lost a whole lot of his lustre. The initial hit isn't big enough, and the additional hits are thus inconsequential. I use Penelope a lot on my green raiding team, but I did take Garten back a couple of months ago, so I can hold Garten's special until I can cast it right before Penelope, so that she doesn't inflict insanity on herself. Even when the timing doesn't work, her hit is big enough that it is worth it. If you don't have a way to deal with the insanity, you're probably only getting one shot out of her, unless the raid goes a very long time.
