1. Nature of the Forum (Community Disclaimer)
The Empires & Puzzles Forum are a community-made, community-run, and unofficial discussion forum created by fans of the game Empires & Puzzles.
This Forum is:

Not owned or operated by Small Giant Games (SGG)

Not affiliated with Small Giant Games, Zynga, or any related companies
-
Not an official support or communication channel for the Empires & Puzzles game
All names, trademarks, and references related to Empires & Puzzles remain the property of their respective owners and are used here solely for identification and discussion purposes.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the Empires & Puzzles Forum (“the Forum”), you agree to these Terms of Service and Forum Rules (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Forum.
3. Age Requirement
The Forum is intended only for individuals aged 13 years or older.

10. Hosting, Development & Jurisdiction
- The Forum is hosted in the United States.
- The Forum is developed and managed from the United Kingdom.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11. User Content & License
By submitting content to the Forum, you grant the Forum a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, store, reproduce, display, modify, and distribute your content solely for the operation, moderation, and promotion of the Forum.
You retain ownership of your content, but acknowledge that:

Content may be cached, archived, quoted, or indexed.

Deleted content may remain in backups or logs for technical or legal reasons.
12. Privacy & Data Handling Acknowledgement
By using the Forum, you acknowledge and agree that:

Certain information (such as usernames, profiles, post history, edit history, and online presence indicators) is visible to other users and guests by default.

13. Administrative Access to Accounts
In exceptional circumstances (including security matters, abuse investigations, account recovery, technical troubleshooting, or legal compliance), the System Administrator may access or log into user accounts without prior notice.
The System Administrator does not require, request, store, or have access to user passwords in plain text. Administrative access is performed through secure internal tools and does not provide visibility into user credentials.
Such access is strictly limited to legitimate administrative purposes and does not imply ownership of user accounts or content. Administrative access does not grant the System Administrator any additional information beyond what is available within the account interface itself and does not alter account ownership or user responsibility for content.
By using the Forum, you expressly acknowledge and consent to this limited administrative access when reasonably necessary for the operation, security, and legal compliance of the Forum.
14. Public Nature of the Forum
The Forum is a public platform.
