How to Access the Event Where to find it: Access is via the Seasons tab. Prerequisite: You must have completed up to Stage 5 of Season 4. Base Season: It is available permanently. Frequency (Summoning Portal): It is part of a 4-day rotation among several reduced-cost seasons: S2 > S3 > S4 > S5 > UT1 > UT2. Find the reduced-cost season: Judgement of Dunes 2. Stages A. General Overview Season 5 is divided into 36 provinces of 10 stages that unlock as you progress. It features an Easy Mode and a Hard Mode. Hard mode is only accessible once Easy mode is completed. The required World Energy varies throughout the provinces from 6 to 10 (Easy) and 10 to 15 (Hard). Each stage is divided into waves (varying from 3 to 5 waves) featuring monsters and final bosses similar to other seasons. B. Stage Properties In Season 5, Stage Properties apply to every other stage. Enemy Passives: All enemies have various passive abilities, specific to each one. A stage or wave may contain different enemies with different passives. Stage Status Effects: Stage Status Effects are applied to your heroes every 5 turns. Nature of Effects: These effects are like normal Status Effects and are mostly dispellable or cleansable. Gameplay Specifics: Amulets Amulets are ancient Kemythian artifacts discovered in Season V stages, offering beneficial effects in combat. A. Acquisition and Unlocking Method: Amulets are unlocked by progressing through the Season V story. Special Stages: Stages that grant new Amulets or increase the number of slots are marked with a special icon. These stages cannot be replayed immediately the first time, as a new screen appears to inform you of the unlocked item or slot. Tutorial: A short tutorial on Amulets is presented after completing Province 1 for the first time. B. Slot Management Total Slots: A total of 3 Amulet Slots can be unlocked and used. Slot Unlock Conditions: Slot 1: After completing Province 1. Slot 2: After completing Province 10. Slot 3: After completing Province 28. C. Inventory and Equipment The inventory is accessible from the Season V map and via a small panel before the battle. Inventory Structure: The upper section shows the currently selected Amulets. The lower section shows the selectable ones. Equipment Actions: Equip: If there is a free slot, click the Amulet to equip it. Change: If there is no free slot, you must first unequip an Amulet, then select a new one. Unequip: You have the option to battle without any Amulets by unequipping them all. In Combat Check: During battle, you can check which Amulets are in use by clicking the associated icon on the left side of the screen. D. Amulet Types and Effects There will be 9 types of Amulets in total. Ankh (Unlocked Province 1): Grants 10% amplified Health to your hero each time they cast a Special Skill. Was Scepter (Unlocked Province 1): Increases the damage enemies receive from your Special Skills by 30%. Tjet (Unlocked Province 4): Grants 20% Mana to your heroes every 3 turns. Udjat Eye (Unlocked Province 7): Weakens all enemies with stacks of -7% Attack and -7% Mana Generation each time you cast a Special Skill. Shen (Unlocked Province 13): Protects your heroes against status ailments and reflects them back to the enemy when possible. Scarab (Unlocked Province 16): Increases your Troops' damage against weaker elements by 200%. Djed (Unlocked Province 22): Revives your heroes as Mummies (10% Attack and -50% Defense) after being defeated for the first time. Benben Crystal (Unlocked Province 25): Gives your heroes +30% Attack and makes them counter-attack with +30% of the damage received. Active only if all heroes are of different elements. Crook & Flail (Unlocked Province 31): Increases the stats of all your Rare/Epic heroes. 4. S5 Missions Specific missions allow you to recover gems or avatars. Log of Missions Overall S5 Mission: Solve the Mystery of the Dunes Note: image is just “easy” completion. A second mission will unlock on its fulfillment for the “hard mode”. Obtaining: They are given as a reward the first time you complete a map stage. Amount: Normal Mode gives 3 coins per stage. Hard Mode gives 5 coins per stage. Summoning: It takes 100 Dune Coins to perform one free summon. 6. Dynasty of Dunes Summoning Portal Summon Cost 1 Summon: Costs 350 Gems or 100 Underworld Coins (Dune Coins). 10 Summons: Cost 3000 Gems. 30 Summons: Cost 8400 Gems. Each summon in the portal credits a summoning chest. Every 10 summons, the retrieved chest grants rewards. You can only obtain a maximum of 12 chests per session. Appearance Rates Presence of heroes from three groups: Season 5 heroes. Season 1 heroes (without their costumes). 7. Families of Dunes A. Moon Family Heroes become stronger when paired with other unique heroes from the same family. Bonus for 1/2 Heroes: 50%/75% chance to apply -24% Defense for 2 turns and 196 Water damage over 2 turns to an enemy who deals damage via Special Skill to this character. If the enemy's Special Skill defeats this character, the chance increases to 75%/100%. Season Hero Bonus: Members of this family receive additional benefits in Season V stages. List of Heroes (By Rarity) Each of the heroes listed below has obtained a costume. 5: El Naddaha, Khonshu, Papyros, Tetisheri, Khepri, El Naddaha, Bastet, Ahmos, Hathor, Anubis, Seti 4: Ahhotep, Junaid, Scoratek 3: Aqeela, Jarif Heroes become stronger when paired with other unique heroes from the same family. B. Sun Family Bonus for 1/2 Heroes: 50%/75% chance to apply -35% Accuracy for 2 turns and 196 Burn damage over 2 turns to an enemy who deals damage via Special Skill to this character. If the enemy's Special Skill defeats this character, the chance increases to 75%/100%. Season Hero Bonus: Members of this family receive additional benefits in Season V stages.
